PCA8 is happening February 18th. If you’ve been you know it’s a great opportunity to network, learn… even teach. There’s several ways to get involved. Read below, and contact our volunteer team for more info.
Registrant SWAG BAGS prep & badge construction:
We will meet the evening of February 15th or 16th to assemble SWAG for approximately 300 registrants. Probably 2-3 hours’ work for 4-5 people. Who’s game?
Registrant name badge setup & printing:
I am happy to report that Jerel Walters has volunteered his services to convert an Excel database of registrants into a Word mail merge file. Thank you Jerel.
We need someone who ideally has access to a color printer and a paper cutter to print and cut badges on Feb 15th or 16th.
Build-A-Sign materials pickup:
We need one person who can pick up signs at “Build-a-Sign (11525B Stonehollow Drive, Suite 220, Austin, TX 78758) on Thursday Feb 16th & deliver them to
the AT&T Center on Saturday morning by 7:30a.
Help we need Saturday morning, February 18th:
Registration Desk:
We need 4-5 people to staff a registration desk for only from 8am-10am check-in. Greeting, handing out badges & SWAG, checking off names, and directing them towards the session voting area.
Classroom A/V:
Need one person to insure every classrooms A/V equipment is ready to go from 730-830a. (AT&T will have their own expert on call, but just in case.)
Recruiting Roundup & Sponsor monitors:
We’ll need 1-2 people to ensure that our recruiting companies & sponsor tables are able to check in & setup 7:30-9:00a. Details and company names to follow.
Setup & Teardown:
We need 3-4 people to setup the registration area & packets from 7a-8:30a, Saturday, February 18th. Badges in holders, badges organized alphabetical, SWAG bags, list of registrants. Ideally these would be the same folks that do the actual check-in.
